Disaster Preparedness

Sure, you're backing up your important files and systems (as you should be). Every day (or multiple times per day) the backups are running and are reporting that they've completed successfully. 

Are you sure you're getting restorable backups that will be there when you need them? Are you actually backing up what is needed to restore your environment with minimal downtime and frustration? Without testing your backup strategy (and medium), there's no way to be sure that you'll be able to restore your environment should the need arise.
